Open access policy

The Worldwide Journal of Physics (WWJoP) is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the unrestricted global dissemination of high-quality research. WWJoP operates under a platinum open-access model, meaning all articles are free to read and publish, with no charges to authors or readers.

License
Upon acceptance, authors grant WWJoP a non-exclusive right to publish their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). By choosing this license, authors permit anyone to:

  • Share – copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format.

  • Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the article for any purpose, including commercially.

The license requires users to provide proper attribution to the authors and source, link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Copyright
Authors retain full copyright to their work. By submitting to WWJoP, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the article. Authors are free to self-archive their published manuscript (e.g., in institutional repositories) and reuse it in future works, provided the original publication in WWJoP is cited.

Funding and Fees
WWJoP is committed to equitable access to publishing. The journal charges no submission fees to authors. Publication costs are fully supported by the journal's publishing institution and sponsors, ensuring no financial barriers exist for researchers worldwide.

Archiving and Preservation
To ensure permanent access, WWJoP deposits all published content in long-term digital preservation systems, including the PKP Preservation Network (PN) and CLOCKSS. This guarantees that the research archive remains available to the global community indefinitely.

Aims of Open Access at WWJoP

  • To maximize the visibility, readership, and impact of authors' research.

  • To accelerate scientific discovery by enabling immediate access and reuse.

  • To comply with open-access mandates of funding bodies and institutions.
