Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal policy for WORLDWIDE JOURNAL OF PHYSICS (WWJoP):
- Withdrawal before acceptance: Authors may withdraw their manuscripts at any time before acceptance. To do so, they should send an email to the editor-in-chief, stating their intention to withdraw.
- Withdrawal after acceptance: Authors may withdraw their manuscripts after acceptance, but only if they have a valid reason. Valid reasons include:
- The manuscript is no longer of interest to the author.
- The manuscript has been accepted for publication elsewhere.
- The manuscript contains major errors that cannot be corrected.
- The author is unable to meet the journal's publication schedule.
To withdraw a manuscript after acceptance, the author should send an email to the editor-in-chief, stating their intention to withdraw and providing the reason for withdrawal. The editor-in-chief will then decide whether to grant the withdrawal request.
If the withdrawal request is granted, the manuscript will be withdrawn from consideration for publication. The author will not be able to resubmit the manuscript to WWJoP.
- Withdrawal after publication: Authors may not withdraw their manuscripts after publication. However, they may request that the journal issue a corrigendum or erratum to correct any errors in the published manuscript.
To request a corrigendum or erratum, the author should send an email to the editor-in-chief, stating the error and providing a proposed correction. The editor-in-chief will then decide whether to issue a corrigendum or erratum.
